The lower shaft is machined from a brass bar giving a comfortable and substantial weight of 26 grams (0.92 oz).  Excellent vertical axis weight balance and ease of use.  Ultra low-viscosity "Mach ball ink" for a crisp, non-smudging, ultra-fine .5mm line.  Each packaged in unique tube suitable for gift-giving or display.  Made in Japan.
