Bieffe Roma is a classic, old-school stationery maker, handbinding their soft-cover notebooks and then finger-dabbing the red color on the edges bit by bit.  All pages are cream.  100% made in Italy.  The gold-embossed bird  on the front covers is the hooded crow - a very common sight all around Rome (and a recent source of intrigue at the Vatican).
