Our warehouse uses water-activated tape to seal heavy boxes (tape that becomes sticky once wet).  It's ideal because: a) it's super strong, b) it's not plastic, c) it doesn't need to be separated from cardboard at recycling time, d) it's tamper-evident, e) unlike plastic tape, it doesn't fall off when it becomes wet or cold, f) one strip is sufficient as the tape bonds to the box... So it's a really good solution for shipping.  And, so, when the mt team visited our warehouse recently, I don't think they were too surprised to see the tape.. but they were mesmerized by our desktop tape dispensers (with attached water tanks) - total behemoths from the 1970s taking up several square feet of packing space.  Flash forward!  A new series created by mt and inspired by that wonderful visit..  eco-friendly, very strong water-activated tapes designed for easy use in the home, shop or mailroom... and one very cool style of modern handheld dispenser.
