"Le Petit Prince" is the last work and masterpiece of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a heroic French aviator, writer and member of the Free French Army.  Written while Saint-Exupéry was in exile in New York during World War II, this fairy-tale like book of a pilot, and his encounter with a 'little prince' on a small, faraway planet, has been translated into more than 500 languages and dialects.  A total of 200 million copies have been published - a number which continues to grow.
